DaffyDottawa Run the Red Light was the successor to this band, and they were amazing. But I had never heard Retrograde's cover of Peter Gabriel's Digging in the Dirt before, and it is outstanding. The rest of the tracks are solid, but that cover is a true standout. Favorite track: Digging In The Dirt.

Falling fast to nowhere A bullet passing by Caught a glimpse of something Connecting here inside In this moment I’m in tune Momentarily with you And then you said Leave me There’s nothing here to figure out Believe me Our chemicals connected A constant state of mind Collapsing into nothing The images rewind Voluntarily consumed In this moment here with you And then you said Leave me There’s nothing here to figure out Believe me You knew Don’t forget You knew All there was to know You knew Don’t forget anything You can’t remember all the words you lost And there’s nothing you could say to me to make me understand You won’t let me out You won’t forget me We collided in a dream You has something here for me (and then you said) In this moment I’m aware Of this frequency we share Leave me There’s nothing here to figure out Believe me You knew Don’t forget You knew All there was to know You knew Don’t forget anything

Letting Go (free) 03:29
Something’s taking over and no one else will ever tell I try to shake it off now but I’m trapped below the undertow All I can do is try to start Letting go, Letting go now Letting go, Letting go It’s your way out It’s closing in around me and it’s not about to let me out I’m suffocating in here there’s gotta be a better way to help this All I can do is try to start Letting go, Letting go now Letting go, Letting go it’s all about Letting go, Letting go now It’s your way out You’ll never find out You’ll never see If you don’t break out And let it be Letting go, Letting go now Letting go, Letting go it’s all about Letting go, Letting go now It’s your way out

Headphones 03:32
She’s thinking of the life that she loved Stolen away from My headphones they tell me things I didn’t know My headphones tell me about the love I used to know She’s thinking of a way to forget All the things that she lets surround her She’s taking everything she can find To put herself in a world she knows well My headphones they tell me things I didn’t know My headphones tell me about the love I used to know She’s not afraid of making mistakes She can’t escape My headphones they tell me things I didn’t know My headphones tell me about the love I used to know I know, I know I used to know

No Answer 04:00
Run me into darkness You run me underground It's how you're keeping our numbers down More of your deception The last thing that we need Turn your head as though you don't see Defending the way you feel Remember it’s something real Are you there? No one answers Stay away, I thought that you cared So alone cause no one answers Are you there? One intention takes us Cause we belong to fear Made to follow the sounds we hear Called you to attention But you're just standing by Couldn’t care if we live or die Defending the way you feel Forgetting the lives you steal Are you there? No one answers Stay away, I thought that you cared So alone ‘cause no one answers Are you there? We are who we are Can’t change who we are Are you there? No one answers Stay away, I thought that you cared So alone ‘cause no one answers Are you there?

How will you ever get there now that you’re always looking behind? You’re already dead, hung by a thread and know this Already dead, but nothing was said It’s in your mind but it seems so real to you now Just wait a minute Just wait for a minute alone Come on now and listen To what I’m trying to say This is your decision So get on with it Why must you always fake it? Try just to be yourself for a while You’re already dead, hung by a thread, and feel this Already dead, but nothing was said Come back to life and I’m sure you’ll figure it out Just wait a minute Just wait for a minute alone Come on now and listen To what I’m trying to say This is your decision So get on with it Come on now and listen Don’t turn and walk away Cause this is your decision So get on with it
6.
Something in me, dark and sticky All the time it’s getting strong No way of dealing with this feeling I can’t go on like this too long This time you’ve gone too far This time you’ve gone too far I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you Don’t talk back, just drive the car Shut your mouth, I know what you are Don’t say nothing, keep your hands on the wheel Don’t turn around ‘cause this is for real Digging in the dirt Stay with me, I need support I’m digging in the dirt To find the places I got hurt Open up the places I got hurt The more I look, the more I find As I close on in, I get so blind I feel it in my head, I feel it in my toes I feel it in my sex, that’s the place it goes This time you’ve gone too far This time you’ve gone too far I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you Don’t talk back, just drive the car Shut your mouth, I know what you are Don’t say nothing, keep your hands on the wheel Don’t turn around ‘cause this is for real I’m digging in the dirt Stay with me I need support I’m digging in the dirt To find the places I got hurt To open up the places I got hurt Digging in the dirt To find the places we got hurt
7.
What am I going to say when you’ve gone on your way? I’m scared that I can’t even open my eyes And I don’t want to hear you say to me You say it’s all over now But I don’t want to know, don’t say it I don’t want to know, I can’t take it Tell me that it’s not over now What am I going to do? Nothing’s right, there’s something I can’t see through I’m on my own and no one else can figure it out for me now I never thought I’d hear you say to me You say it’s all over now But I don’t want to know, don’t say it I don’t want to know, I can’t take it I don’t want to know, don’t say it Tell me that it’s not over now No I won’t leave now You know I won’t leave now So come on don’t leave now I don’t want to know, don’t say it I don’t want to know, I can’t take it I don’t want to know, don’t say it I don’t want to know, I can’t take it Just tell me that it’s not over now
8.
Calling out to you Distant you remain Nothing seems to go your way Say you need the space To bring you back to life Still you feel the need to stay I'm looking into you The emptiness there's of no use You never really ever wanted me to reach the end Do you know how to give Or just take it away? No intent to change You push me down below Nothing else to for you to gain You feel it sinking in It draws you to the brink Will it ever be OK? I'm looking into you The emptiness there's of no use You never really ever wanted me to reach the end Do you know how to give Or just take it away Take it away Take it away Nothing to say Making me pay I'm looking into you The emptiness there's of no use You never really ever wanted me to reach the end Do you know how to give Or just take it away?
9.
Never stop pretending you never let go Believing you’re safe and sound Protected with your head down You’ll never know There’s nothing more for you here On a road to the wrong way home You are the only one to say it’s well worth the wait You are the only one who will lie to pretend like you never knew Throw it down the doubt you’re defending now Keeping your feet off the ground ‘Cause they seem to lock you down You can’t move at all There’s nothing more for you here On a road to the wrong way home You are the only one to say it’s well worth the wait You are the only one who will lie to pretend like you never knew Never stop defending, you never back down Digging a hole in the ground And you found a way to get through The life that you knew You are the only one to say it’s well worth the wait You are the only one who will lie to pretend like you never knew

The Unknown 03:05
You won't be the one to guide me through The unknown separating me and you We need the sadness to balance this, to balance this What do you want from me? You won’t believe me What do you want from me? I’m not what you need You’re locked into this reality You walked right into the enemy Remaining helpless to balance this, to balance this What do you want from me? You won’t believe me What do you want from me? I’m not what you need There’s no way to get through to you There’s no way to get through to you You won't be the one to guide me through What do you want from me? You won’t believe me What do you want from me? I’m not what you need And you’re not what I need

Surrender 03:45
One two I'm counting what for you ask me Can't stop this constant accumulating Unidentified objects in my mind I wander aimless through my subconscious My awakening is now impending Some how descending to my surrender And something tells me it’s overwhelming Awaken alone, alone The feeling's gone, it goes To the one who avoids the connection The feeling goes, it goes My intuition sending transmissions No destination can't make the connection The mind it bends and you win again The dream it ends with my surrender And something tells me it’s overwhelming Awaken alone, alone The feeling's gone, it goes To the one who avoids the connection The feeling goes, it goes

How can I believe you when you’re always gone I’ve tried to see beyond this, but how can I move on? So this is how you leave me, desperate I wish for once you’d hear those words I said You won’t listen and this is all I want Save me from this Make me stop holding on Wide awake I wonder, why I’m here There’s nothing left for me now it’s all so clear You won’t listen and this is all I want Save me from this Make me stop holding on Save me from this Take me back where I belong
